Canva allows you to upload any font and then use it according to your need. I have been using Urdu font for many of my projects for a long time in canva.
How to upload and use Urdu fonts in Canva?
There are many websites where you can download Urdu fonts. I mainly use urdufonts.net for this purpose. You can find many excellent Urdu fonts on this website.
Step 1 – Download your desired font. This would be a zip file. Right-click on it and apply “Extract files”. You will see one .ttf file. This is the file that you need to upload in canva.
Step 2 – Upload your .ttf file in canva. You will see this file in your font library. See below snippet for quick understanding.

Step 3 – Now you need to write the Urdu text and import it into canva. It is just copy-paste work. You can use any external website or keyboard to write Urdu text and then copy/ paste it in canva. After that, you can apply your uploaded Urdu font to this text. You can also use any text effect for your text.
I use easynepalityping.com/type-urdu to write Urdu text. It provides an easy method to write your Urdu text from roman English. It will convert it into Urdu immediately. It will also give you different options to select the best words for your need.
