Let me first get you familiar with the available text effects in Canva. See the below snippet for your quick reference.
Canva also has some outstanding letter frames in its elements section. One of my Canva buddies “Naeem Malik” has recently shared all kinds of available letters through his Instagram feed. See the below link for your reference.
The only issue to use these letters is that you need to search every letter of your word one by one in the same category. It may become very time-consuming but final results would always be amazing.
Let’s start with some of the text effects which I have created through canva effects i.e Duetone, Liquify, Glitch and Shadows.
How to create eye catching Text effects in Canva ?
Text Effect 1 –
Step 1 – Write any text of your choice.
Step 2 – Apply text effect “Lift”.
Step 3 – Make five copies of this lifted text effect. Place them on top of each other and grouped them.
Step 4 – Keep the same background color that you use for text color, Now you can see the amazing 3D text effect on your slide. You can make it more creative using your imagination based on your design need.
Text Effect 2 –
Step 1 – Download your lifted text effect created with “Text effect 1” as PNG/JPG and upload it again.
Step 2 – Go to effects – Glitch – Apply “Trace” as per the below detail.
Step 3 – Apply any “Duotone” effect of your choice, I have applied “Mustard” for this design.
Text Effect 3 –
Step 1 – Apply the “wobble” effect on your next design created through “Text effect 2”. See the below snippet for your quick reference.
Text Effect 4 –
Step 1 – Download your lifted text effect as PNG “Transparent file” without background.
Step 2 – Upload it again and apply the effect “split”. See the below snippet for your quick understanding.
Text Effect 5 –
Step 1 – Use your lifted text effect with transparent background. apply effect “trace” as per the below detail.
Step 2 – Apply effect “Smear” with the below adjustments.
Text Effect 6 –
Step 1 – Write any text of your choice and download it as a PNG/Transparent file.
Step 2 – Apply shadow “Glow” as per the below detail and see some outstanding results. You can use these text effects for food brands.
